The New Jersey Organization Development Learning Community will hold
their Annual Sharing Day on May 7. Patrice Murphy and Daniel Dworkin
will present Innovating Like a Startup – How to Build a Lean LaunchPad for New Ventures.
Enabling
innovation within corporate environments is one of today’s key OD
challenges. By mixing best practices from the lean startup movement with
change stewardship and results-oriented execution, OD practitioners can
help their organizations crack the innovation code. Patrice and Danny
will help participants uncover innovation barriers and catalysts,
introduce the lean startup processes for business model innovation, and
share case experiences that demonstrate how to turn an organization into
an innovation factory.
An exciting new format for this year's
Annual Sharing Day will allow registrants to attend break-out
presentations and experience Open Space Structured Networking while
receiving SHRM HRCI credits for attending.
Attendees to the
conference will gain insight into current learning experiences of
internal/corporate and external practitioners as well as
client/consultant partnerships in Organization Development, Organization
Effectiveness, Learning & Development, Talent Management,
Selection, Learning Management, and I/O psychology. Topics include
best practices, lessons learned, true innovations, and client case
studies (client must be present) and presentations by members of
academia on advances in the theory of OD and related disciplines to help
advance thought leadership in our profession.
