Wes Siegal is Managing Partner at Schaffer Consulting. He is an
organizational psychologist who designs and leads organizational
transformation efforts that drive improved performance, innovation, and
leadership development. Wes has developed and delivered these programs
in dozens of top-tier organizations in the pharmaceutical, financial
services, manufacturing, and education sectors – most notably at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Merck, Pfizer, Bausch + Lomb, ING, Avery Dennison, and the Haas School of Business.
Wes helps leadership teams turn organizational dynamics to their
advantage as they work to realize their strategic goals. As a member of
the Firm's management committee, Wes leads a number of efforts that help
our clients create more adaptive cultures and achieve breakthrough
results. These have yielded results in areas as diverse as cost
management, compliance, product development and sales growth, operating
and manufacturing efficiency, and improvement of quality and outcomes.
Wes has spoken about consulting and change dynamics at the national
SIOP and ASTD conferences, and he has written about these topics in
recent articles in Consulting to Management and Leader to Leader.
Wes has been a guest
lecturer in leadership and team development and organizational
performance improvement since 2000 at management and leadership courses
and workshops at Fordham University, University of California, Baruch
College, and Columbia. Taught Introduction to Organizational Psychology
at Barnard College in 1998. Teachers Assistant in various Columbia
courses including Group Dynamics and Statistics.
He holds certifications in Voices, Benchmarks, Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire, FIRO-B, and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Wes
has a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Brown University (1987), and a
Ph.D. (2000, with honors) in Organizational Psychology from Columbia
University.
