Deb Seidman is an affiliate with Schaffer Consulting, with specific experience collaborating with us on Simplification and WorkOut engagements. She is valued for her ability to partner effectively with business leaders to develop practical solutions that improve business performance. She inspires confidence in leaders – helping them to gain insight into business challenges and potential solutions, promotes collaboration within and between teams, and streamlines and simplifies processes.

With over 25 years of experience as a former corporate executive and consultant for global organizations, Deb understands the challenges leaders face and how to effectively implement sustainable change that yields positive business outcomes. Her areas of expertise include performance management, talent management, and team effectiveness.

She is founder and president of Green Silk Associates, LLC and consults with the Korn Consulting Group, Inc. Previously, she held positions as Vice President of Leadership and Organizational Development, Vice President of Performance Management, and Vice President/Senior HR Business Partner at JPMorgan Chase. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Deb held positions with the International Labour Office in Geneva, Switzerland, and with Organization Resources Counselors, Inc. in New York.

Deb has extensive experience designing and implementing succession planning, talent management, and performance management processes, developing and delivering customized leadership development programs, and designing and facilitating off-sites, business meetings, and workshops that enable teams to drive change, improve processes, identify business growth opportunities, and establish more effective collaborative practices. Deb partners with her clients to look holistically at business challenges, define a strategy, develop and then implement practical solutions. Her areas of focus include:

Deb holds an M.A. from New York University in Politics with a concentration in International Politics and Business and a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She is conversant in French.
