Celia Kirwan is an affiliate at Schaffer Consulting and has over 20 years experience in top management consulting firms, including over 13 years full-time at Schaffer.
During her consulting career, Celia has worked in a variety of sectors
including financial services, healthcare, agrochemicals,
pharmaceuticals, retail, and not-for-profit for clients including
Citigroup, ConAgra Foods, Novartis, Syngenta, The Body Shop, The
National Trust, and UPS. Her international experience includes work in
the US, Asia, the UK, and other European countries. Helping organizations work
better to achieve their business results is Celia's primary goal. Celia
trains and coaches Schaffer Consulting clients in the Rapid Results
approach and the WorkOut process.
Located in Boston, Celia is active in a number of professional
development organizations and has presented at the Boston Facilitators
Roundtable, the Boston Trainers Roundtable, the Human Resources
Leadership Forum's Career Readiness Group, and to graduate students at
Emerson College among others.
Celia has co-authored two book chapters: 'Active Facilitation: How to Help Groups Break Through Mutual Stalemate’ in Working with Difficult Groups (Jossey Bass, 2010) and the ‘Rapid Results’ chapter in the second edition of The Change Handbook (Berrett Koehler 2007).
Celia has a BA from the University of Sussex in England and a Master's
Degree in Geography from Boston University. She is a trained mediator.
